La Virgen de Guadalupe

Danzantes celebrate día de la Virgen de Guadalupe in South Broadway district in Alburquerque, New Mexico.

Andrés Armijo received the Historical Society of New Mexico "Fabiola Cabeza de Baca" Award, 2015 at the New Mexico History Conference annual award dinner for his book "Por constancia/So that it may be validated: Family History in the Río Abajo (Albuquerque: Río Grande Books, 2015).

Additional 2015 honorees included Malcolm Ebright, Rick Hendricks, Richard W. Hughes, Nasario García, Cipriano Federico Vigil, David L. Caffey, Max Evans, Ann Carson, Michael Stevenson, Mo Palmer and Sam White.
